Grandma like so many have said had the Birthday Lunch tradition. I remember once when she took me to a really nice restaurant by the river and we just talked and had a great time. She always told the lilly pad story at night (which if anyone remembers and would type out I would really appreciate).
Grandma always had fun things for Hudson and the other grandkids. Every time she saw them she was always so happy when she was with us. We had lunch up the hill last summer and I remember the spaghetti coming out and the meatballs were the size of my fists. All the kids eyes popped out but it was just so fun and I am grateful for those times.
When Ryan had his surgery there were flowers from Grandma there when we got home and a card. Not to me but to Ryan. I appreciate her support and instant love for her grandchildren and their spouses. At Kathryn's wedding, Ryan and I sat next to her for a little bit and she just couldn't get over how beautiful Kathryn looked and how "dashing" Mike was.
